Mobius™ Command & Control Software
Mobius™ Command & Control Software is a robotics software system for unmanned vehicle systems using the SAE AS-4 protocol (formerly JAUS). Mobius™ enables seamless operation of disparate robotic platforms with capabilities ranging from simple tele-operation to fully autonomous operation.
Features
FIELD PROVEN, RELIABLE, AND ROBUST: Mobius™ was developed for real-world customers in demanding agriculture, industrial/construction, military, automotive testing, and mining markets. As a result, it contains a powerful feature set that is broadly applicable to a wide variety of unmanned systems and related applications. You can be sure that Mobius™ is capable of meeting your mission critical, vehicle navigation requirements.
SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE: Mobius™ enables you to quickly and easily deploy unmanned vehicles for immediate application in real-world situations. Define missions and objectives using powerful GPS-based navigation and path-planning tools, then watch as vehicles carry them out. Navigate autonomous vehicles real-time with point-and-click technology. The graphical user interface provides every tool you need to execute complex, unmanned ground vehicle missions while maintaining a clean and intuitive layout. Assigning missions and tasks to autonomous vehicles is simple, and all options are visible to the operator at the appropriate time, so memorization of commands is not necessary.
3D VISUALIZATION: Both 3D and 2D views are available for easy visualization of vehicle operation.
OBSTACLE DETECTION AND AVOIDANCE: Obstacle detection and avoidance software systems, like ASI’s Vantage Obstacle Detection and Avoidance System, works seamlessly with the Mobius™ framework to inform the operator of obstacles, vehicle status, and the dynamic pathway to avoid obstacles.
SAVES TIME AND MONEY: Mobius™ is a great value for autonomous vehicle operators considering development of a customized command and control software solution. Since Mobius™ was first released in 2002, we have invested millions of dollars implementing core features, refining the interface, and testing with real-life robotic systems to ensure that it is the premier command and control software package for unmanned vehicle platforms. Instantly leverage years of experience and millions of dollars in development by purchasing Mobius™ today!
SAE AS-4 COMPLIANT: Mobius™ communications are built on industry standard SAE AS-4 (JAUS)
- Integrates easily with other compliant tools and vehicles
- Controls most JAUS compliant vehicles or payloads out of the box, and controls most other vehicles with a minimal translation layer
- Experience controlling robots designed by iRobot, Foster-Miller, Remotec, Harris Corporation, and Mesa Robotics
Applications
Mobius™ site control software can be applied to most semi-autonomous and fully-autonomous applications.
Mobius™ has been developed in conjunction with real-world customers for use in demanding markets including:
- Agriculture
- Construction
- Military
- Automotive testing
- Mining
Mobius™ robust feature set is broadly applicable to a wide variety of unmanned systems and related applications.
Mobius™ can also be used as a simulation tool to calculate cost and time differences between different vehicle operation setups (multiple vehicle vs. one vehicle, different operating speeds and coverage areas etc. depending on operation specifics).
Specs
- SAE AS-4 Compliant (JAUS)
- System Requirements
- Minimum Software Requirements: Windows XP or newer operating system, .NET 4.0 Full SlimDX (March 2011)
